VINTAGE 1969 Ludwig Club Date "Downbeat" Outfit in Black Diamond Pearl

• Details & Notes: This wonderful 60's Club Date is a near time capsule. Overall excellent condition, as this kit was cherished by the former owner. Maple/Poplar clear interior shells with cohesive serial numbers. The wrap, inlays, and color are in incredible shape. All original and fully functional hardware is present on the kit. The one exception is the spring loaded push legs on the floor tom, which slide a little without some form of support. As a quick fix we wrapped a single band of gaffers tape around each leg, which works perfectly. Memory locks or pipe locks will take care of the problem as a long term solution. The drums tune high to low with ease, and fit at home in everything from classic rock to hard bop.
