VINTAGE 1970's Dixie MIJ Drum Set in Red Sparkle

• Vintage Drum Set. 

• Sizes: 14x20 bass drum, 8x12 tom, 14x14 floor tom, 5x14 snare.

• Details & Notes: Here is an incredible little MIJ jazzer in very clean condition. Dixie was one of many OEM brand names produced by Pearl in the 60's-70's to be imported as "budget kits" in the states. The floor tom legs and bass drum accessory/cymbal arm bracket even has Pearl script engraved on each bracket. With all the retro looks of classic American made drums, this kit could pass for one too with the killer tone it produces, especially when tuned higher in the bebop range. All hardware is fully functional including the knock-off "Zoomatic" style snare strainer. The hex-nut on the rail consolette is a little over sized, and a wrench will be needed for adjustment as hex keys are too small. All heads are original with the exception of the floor tom resonant head.
