VINTAGE 1950's-1960's Slingerleedy Brass Timbales - 13" & 14"

• Details & Notes: Beautiful sounding Slingerleedy brass timbales in players condition. Made during the joint ownership of Leedy by the Slingerland company, where some drums had features found in both manufacturers. As far as we can tell, all is original except for two of attachment bolts on the stand. One original bolt is loose and needs to be watched when putting the timbales on or taking them off of the stand. Rich, warm, and dark brass sound. Each drum has a fair amount of physical wear and both drums are missing the Badge. Both drums have some denting, but the bottom of the 14" timbale has significant denting that has warped the shape of the bottom of the drum. Despite this, these drums sound just as good if not better than other timbales we have worked with, and have plenty of old school mojo.
