VINTAGE 1970's Slingerland 80n "Buddy Rich Outfit" In White Marine Pearl

- Details & Notes: We've all dreamt of this kit. An unbelievably cool Slingerland Buddy Rich Outfit 80n Model complete with a chrome over brass snare drum, Tempo King bass drum pedal, Dynamo hi-hat stand, three no.66 cymbal stands, Rocket model snare stand, and set-o-matic tom holder. The set has been rewrapped, however the particular white marine chosen looks very convincing as a passible original. The wrap is taped rather than glued, and is tight with no lifting. Shells are in excellent condition, as is all of the set hardware. The 5x14 Chrome over Brass snare drum is original to the kit, and was likely opted for instead of the standard wood model featured in the catalog. The Snare drum is in very good shape with a fully working Zoomatic throw, and bright crisp sound. Cosmetically there are a few very minor dents and scratches to the drum, but nothing out of the ordinary or unsightly. All of the cymbal stands are in very good shape functionally, however one stand is missing a top set screw resulting in an inability to tilt, and is locked in place with a substitute. These drums sound absolutely massive with ample warmth and round low end both wide open and with a bit of muffling. From bombastic Buddy style big band playing, to punchy rock n roll, these drums will deliver.
