Badges Drum Shop offers private drum lessons for drummers of all ages and levels from beginner to professional in a range of styles including rock, jazz, R&B, funk, reggae, swing, country, pop, and more. Weekly half-hour or full-hour lessons with our outstanding drum instructors are available by the month.

WHY TAKE DRUM LESSONS?
Whether you're a semi-pro drummer looking to hone your advanced skills or a beginner that's never held a pair of drum sticks, nothing can take the place of one-on-one instruction with a pro who can provide hands-on learning and real-time feedback. Live instruction is absolutely key to learning efficiently and advancing faster.
Advanced students need to be challenged to master advanced skills and encouraged to overcome small weaknesses that hold them back. Beginning students benefit from playing alongside a positive pro that works with them every step of the way.

The process of learning rudiments, perfecting timing, and achieving limb independence require perseverance and build confidence. The comfortable Lesson Room is equipped with two fully-equipped, pro-grade, side-by-side drum sets for efficient, hands-on learning.
PRICING & SCHEDULING
Drum lessons are available during Badges Drum Shop hours, based on teacher openings. Our pro teachers offer rates which are competitive and affordable for weekly, one-on-one, half-hour lessons. PAYMENT
- $25 one-time Registration Fee payable to Badges Drum Shop prior to first lesson to reserve your spot and accept lesson policies.
- Monthly Lesson Fee: payable to your teacher (cash or check only) at first lesson of each month

BEGINNING DRUM LESSONS
Want to learn to play the drums? Our skilled teachers will work with you to put you on the best path to accomplish your drumming goals. If you are just starting out, regardless of your age, you will start with basic skills that serve as the foundation for everything you will go on to learn as a drummer.

INTERMEDIATE DRUM LESSONS
Already drumming but want to improve your drumming skills? It is at the intermediate level that our teachers will help you build on your basic drumming skills to advance as a dummer. Feeling stuck? We can help you break through to the next level. We can also help you prepare for school auditions or important gigs.

- Reading basic drum set notation and drum set charts
- Reading and playing syncopated rhythms

ADVANCED DRUM LESSONS
Are you a semi-pro or gigging drummer that wants to hone your advanced skills and improve your marketability? Our pro instructors will challenge you to master more complex rhythms, overcome small weaknesses, improve your musicality, and refine your personal style to achieve your personal best, nail auditions, and get more gigs.

- Developing fluency in different, more advanced musical genres
- Understanding musical phrasing and concepts
All you need to bring to lessons are sticks and the music or books your teacher recommends. Our lesson room is equipped with everything else you need for a quality learning experience.
CHOOSING EQUIPMENT
We are drummers well-versed in all genres and all kinds of drum equipment. As you advance as a drummer, your teacher will recommend what you need for practicing at home. You need not spend a lot. We can help you select the right gear for your goals and your budget and even help you get more life and the best sound out of the gear you have. We carry quality new and used drum gear, and offer options at most every price point for every experience level.
