- This beautiful 65-66 Ludwig Super Classic Outfit in Gold Sparkle is a one owner instrument with original era correct WFL Snare Stand, WFL Speed King, and Ludwig Spur-Lok hi-hat stand. Original Ludwig heads are present on all drums top and bottom with the exception of the snare batter head, and are still in excellent playing condition given their age. The snare drum is a catalog matching LM400 5x14 Supraphonic snare drum dating to 64' and has a red baseball bat felt muffler. This kit was likely either born together due to how close we have dated the drums by the serial numbers. Maple/Mahogany Shell with white interiors and white felt mufflers on all toms. Shells are in great condition with minor wear from age that is to be expected. Truly an excellent instrument. Wrap is tight and clean and shows even color around all drums. The snare stand as many are is a bit loose at the base, and the Speed King is completely stuck, however could be brought back with the right maintenance.
