SHIPPING

Badges Drum Shop has an excellent reputation for timely shipment of expertly packed goods with clear communication along the way. Our shipping policies and practices are as follows.

  • Shipping rates are calculated for individual items based on average weights and sizes for each class of goods and averages delivery distances. It is never our intention to charge extra for shipping. If shipping appears high for your location or for multiple items combined into one order, we will be happy to get a custom quote for your order.   • Except for very lightweight items that ship USPS, domestic orders ship via UPS Ground with tracking information. International orders may ship via UPS or DHL except for very light orders which may ship via USPS. 
  • Orders placed on our website are automatically verified using the email address you provide with the order. Tracking information is automatically provided to the same email address when the order ships.
  • Badges Drum Shop ships promptly with most orders shipping within 48 business hours of order verification. Especially large or complicated items may take additional time in which case we will notify you via email of expected ship date, which is usually just one or two additional days. We ship every business day the shop is open Tuesday - Friday. We do not ship on weekends or holidays.
  • It is your responsibility to track your own package using the tracking number provided and make arrangements for someone to receive the package.
  • By default, all shipments over $100 are sent with Signature Required. If a package is returned to us after multiple attempts to deliver, you will be charged the full cost of shipping. If you request we omit the signature requirement, your request serves as your agreement to assume all risk of lost, damaged, or stolen goods once shipment is in the possession of carrier.
  • Shipping problems are rare. In the event your shipment arrives damaged or with items missing, your claim must be received with photographic evidence within two business days of receipt of merchandise. Please retain shipment and packaging until claim is complete. Refunds or replacements will not be issued until a shipping insurance investigation has been completed with your full cooperation, providing images and other requested documentation. Shipments are insured for the full value but that is not a guarantee the claim will be paid for the full value.
  • If you forward a shipment from us to a third party, Badges Drum Shop is in no way responsible for damages, loss, claims, fees, or any other costs.
  • We recycle packaging and use the best packaging available for your order. As a result, you may receive receive items in recycled boxes.
  • Shipments require a physical street address (no PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses).
  • Heavy and oversized items may incur additional shipping charges.
  • Badges Drum Shop's website currently accepts orders only from the US, but we do have the ability to ship to most countries via Reverb.com. For a custom international shipping quote, please email the item title and your address to info@badgesdrumshop.com. For international orders, import duties, taxes, and customs fees vary by region and are the responsibility of the buyer to anticipate and pay.
  • Manufacturer restrictions may prohibit the shipping of certain products to certain destinations.

 

RETURNS

Badges Drum Shop wants you to be happy with your purchase. Any new stock item (defined as new, non-custom, non-commissioned, non-bespoke/artisan/one-of-a-kind goods) that does not meet your expectations can be returned within 3 business days of delivery for a refund or exchange of stock goods. 

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with no signs of use, wear, stick marks, or fingerprints. It must be in the original packaging with all accessories, documentation (manuals, CDs, instructions, warranty cards, etc.) and a copy of the original or digital receipt. Buyer receives a full refund in their original payment method less any shipping costs and a restocking fee of 5% (if returned in unused condition) or up to 20% if we are unable to sell the returned item as new, has been cleaned or altered, or requires extra service or repackaging. If we are unable to sell the item as gently-used, the return may be refused. Upon our acceptance of item at Badges Drum Shop, credit will be applied to your account according to the form of the original payment. 

Several types of goods are exempt from returns and exchanges.

  • Discontinued items, demo items, sale or clearance or discounted items
  • Custom orders, custom specced items, commissioned items, artisan and/or bespoke cymbals, or one-off items
  • Drumheads that have been played or seated on a drum
  • Vintage or used items. As well, post-purchase cancellations of used and vintage goods orders in process are subject to a 20% restocking fee. 
  • Perishable goods
  • Masterclasses and drum clinics - in person and online
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products are not eligible for return or exchange.

Please do not send your purchase to the manufacturer. All returns and exchanges of items purchased through Badges Drum Shop must be processed by Badges Drum Shop.

Badges Drum Shop reserves the right to limit or suspend the return privileges for anyone we believe to be abusing return privileges with excessive returns.

Refund process:

  • Notify us within 3 business days of carrier reported delivery of your stock item (defined as new, non-custom, non-commissioned goods) to let us know you intend to return it, so we can confirm eligibility and look for it.
  • Ship the item within those 3 business days via UPS or FedEx, packed safely in the original packaging with copy of your receipt, insured for the full value to Badges Drum Shop, 127 W Main Street, Mason OH 45040, 513-972,8203, info@badgesdrumshop.com.
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Buyer receives a full refund in their original payment method less any shipping costs and potentially up to a 20% restocking fee depending on condition. It typically takes a few days for your refund to be processed and posted by your bank.

Exchange process:
We only replace stock items and only if they are defective or damaged. We may need time to order a replacement for you. The process is otherwise the same as for Refunds above.

Warranty Returns:
Warranty returns must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number (RA#) as required by most manufacturers. Prior to returning an item, please email us at info@badgesdrumshop.com to obtain an RA#. If the manufacturer requires it, photographic evidence of the problem may be requested before an RA# can be issued. If this is the case, Badges Drum Shop will advise.

Return Shipping:

  • Send your product to: Badges Drum Shop, 127 West Main Street, Mason OH 45040, providing the phone number 513-972-8203 and the email address info@badgesdrumshop.com.
  • Unless we shipped the wrong item or you received a damaged item, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If your order qualified for free shipping, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund or credit.
  • All returned items are the responsibility of the purchaser until received safely and completely at Badges Drum Shop. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We suggest using a reputable shipper that provides tracking information, requiring a signature, and insuring the package for the original purchase price.
