VINTAGE 1950's A. Zildjian 22" Small Stamp Ride Rehammered & Relathed

• Vintage Cymbal. Professionally rehammered on both sides of the cymbal, and lathed down on the bottom side taking the cymbal from 2900g to 2430g. The cymbal went from a bright and very strong classic 50's A sound, to sounding closer to a new stamp K, with a bit more crystalline highs. Absolutely lovely in all regards. Woody and metallic stick gives a classic jazz ride sound. The edge provides a strong explosive crash, with a fast decay. The cymbal was drilled for multiple rivet holes along the edge a la Blakey prior to relathing. Reworking of this cymbal was done by our beloved Cincinnati cymbal smith and restorer, Steve Seifried.
