VINTAGE 1960's Trixon Players Grade Speedfire Kit in Pink Sparkle

• Details & Notes: Totally a players grade restoration piece, but a very cool one at that. This Trixon Speedfire consists of the infamous egg shaped bass drum a normal 8x13 tom, a conical 9x13/14 tom, and a conical 16x14/16 floor tom. For clarification the conical drums are a 14" head over a 13" head with an 8" depth, and a 16" head over a 14" head with a 16" depth. The drums are missing quite a bit of essentials, including both bass drum spurs, as well as one bass drum head, hoop, and the corresponding set of claws and t-rods. Luckily heads are still made by Remo, but the hoop may require some creative endeavors. We photographed the kit with what is technically the resonant head side of the bass drum facing the audience to highlight the very cool hand painted head design, however this is technically the playing side. The bass drum is missing one tom mount plate, though the mounting arm is present. It is also missing the bass drum mounted cymbal stand. The other drums are in fairly good shape with the only key missing parts being the bottom hoops/heads and slotted tension rods. The tone controls on the toms are present, however they have seen better days. Plastic lugs are over all in good shape throughout the kit, with a bit of hairline cracks showing here and there, but none showing signs of failure.
