VINTAGE 1970's Rogers Players Grade "Rock" Outfit in Black Nitron

• Vintage Drum Set.

• Sizes: 14x24, 9x13, 16x16. 

• Details & Notes: An oddball players kit, but fully functional and with an exceptional amount of mojo. The kit consists of two grey speckled interior toms, and a mysterious bass drum that doesn't seem to be a Rogers in true origin. The bass drum shell build seems to be a 60's or 70's Gretsch based on the suspicious Silver Sealer looking paint, edges, and construction method. There are what might appear to be a few repainted area's on the shell interior from the mods done to the kit. Regarding mods, the drums have been outfitted with Yamaha hardware, a fate many vintage drums have seen as Yamaha was considered a superior option to some of the USA makers in house hardware of the day. A Yamaha bass drum tom holder was installed, as well a YESS bracket on the rack tom. Yamaha leg brackets have been installed on the floor tom, leaving extra holes which have been masked by black tape. The floor tom legs are Ludwig. The bass drum sports Ludwig T-rods and claws. Despite the oddities, this is a pretty nifty kit, and is perfect for a studio or the player who wants a decent vintage kit without breaking the bank.
