VINTAGE 1960's Gretsch Round Badge Progressive Jazz Outfit in Blue Sparkle
- Vintage Drum Set.
- Sizes: 14x20, 8x12, 14x14, 5.5x14.
- Details & Notes: A stunning Gretsch Progressive Jazz outfit in Blue Sparkle, consisting of the classic sizes of 14x20, 8x12, 14x14 and a matching 5.5x14 snare drum. Overall excellent condition, with mostly original heads and hardware. Clean edges and interiors, with paper tags in each drum. Wrap is vibrant with no cracking or lifting of edges. All hardware is original and fully functional. The snare batter head has been replaced with a modern Remo. The grommet and badge of the bass drum are missing, a typical misfortune for Gretsch of this era. The snap in key holder of the snare drum is also missing from the drum. Original 42 Strand Gretsch snare wires are on the snare drum, and are in very good playing condition. the Micro-Sensitive strainer is in full working order. All tone controls work as should including the bass drum Pratt Muffler. The bass drum cymbal arm is sturdy and fully functional as are the included Floating Action pedal and hi-hat stand. The Walburg & Auge Gretsch snare stand works but has a loose tilter. Over all in incredible piece with ample bop attitude.
