• Details & Notes: A true stunner here! This is a near time capsule mid 30s Radio King in a beautifully preserved Blue & Silver Duco lacquer paint. As anyone who has experience with old duco painted drums will tell you, it is all too common to have nearly half the finish chipped away. This drum has minimal, limited to just a few small forgivable areas. Regarding originality, the drum is almost all original with the exception of the snare side clips being Ludwig, and the calf head snare side head being a Leedy & Ludwig head. The three point strainer works like a charm, and the drum plays with a grand articulate presence that is backed up by the vintage warmth that we all love. Solid maple w/ maple reinforcement rings.
