Vintage 1950's Slingerland 5.5x14 Solid Shell Gene Krupa Radio King Snare Drum in Aqua "Blue" Sparkle

• Size: 5.5x14.

• Details & Notes: A beautiful early 60's Slingerland Gene Krupa Radio King in the famous "Aqua Marine" sparkle. Slingerland was using double sided red sparkle and blue sparkle wrap during the 50's, as red and blue sparkle were two of their most ordered colors. Over time, many drums outfitted in blue sparkle would fade to a beautiful aqua. Complete with all original hardware, a working "Clamshell" throw-off, and working internal muffler. There is some slight, acceptable separation of the reinforcement rings with the shell, but nothing that affects the tone or performance of the drum.
