NEW Bosphorus 20" Old K Tribute

• Brand New Cymbal. Since the early days of our humble shop, Badges has partnered with Bosphorus Cymbals in commissioned tributes and specialty off-menu items including homages to old A & K Zildjian cymbals played in the golden era of Jazz. These cymbals feature variations of lathing, hammering, profiles, and patinas to achieve both uniqueness and tonal balance between cymbals. This cymbal is an homage to Old K's of the past, featuring an antique patina finish, a smaller low profile bell, and a ring of sound control vents near the edge of the cymbal as you might find on Old A's and K's in the wild that have undergone abundant riveting or drilling. Many of these cymbals ended up having desirable tonal benefits including dryer crashes and more control under the stick.
