Details & Notes: All Performance Series shells are built with DW’s patented HVX technique, which features 100% Maple plies with grains oriented in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal patterns for low, punchy fundamentals. HVX shells are precision-cut with 45-degree (toms) and 60-degree (bass and snare) edges. These edges provide tonality and sustain from your toms, and depth and punch from your bass and snare. Tried and true DW drum hardware keeps shells tuned and in pitch, also adding to the aesthetic of your Performance Series drum.
