Details & Notes: The 16-ply Gretsch Mahogany/Maple Snare Drum gives you the best of both worlds; the sound and feel of Mahogany, and the sound and feel of Maple. The assortment will cover any sound and musical preference you have. Designed with a sharp 30 degree bearing edge for a very cutting attack and powerful back beat with just the right amount dark undertone. Finished in a beautiful gloss lacquer and are completed with 20-Strand Steel Snare Wires, 2.5mm Triple Flange Hoops, and our newly designed Full Range Throw off & Butt Plate. 16ply construction consisting of a 4ply mahogany/8ply maple/4ply mahogany build.
