USED 2000's Gretsch USA Custom Drum Set in Tony Williams Yellow (Solid Yellow Gloss)
Used Drum Set.
Sizes: 18x22, 8x10, 9x12, 14x14, 16x16
Details & Notes: Excellent condition mid 2000's-2010's Gretsch USA Custom in Solid Yellow Gloss, which is aptly referred to as "Tony Williams Yellow", as was the color of his iconic Gretsch drum set. These drums all feature "Drop G" Stop Sign badges, which despite the transition to Square Badges in the late 80's and the Round Badge revival in the late 2010's, Gretsch has continued to still offer by request. As Stop Sign badges were not as heavily produced post transition, different batches would have slightly different hues. As such the bass drum and mounted toms have slightly lighter badges. These were also made during the period of Gretsch transitioning tags, going from grey serial number tags back to the classic orange paper tags Gretsch is known for. All drums indicate that these were made around the same time, and all drums are post Jasper shell production. Each tom features top and bottom internal tone control, with the bass drum featuring a batter side Pratt Muffler. Aesthetically these drums are in wonderful shape, with vibrant even lacquer, and shiny chrome that only displays the most common acceptable wear. The bass drum features retro "Classic Claws" rather than the common die cast claws. These too are still available per request on contemporary USA customs. All drums are classic 6ply Maple/Gum shells with Silver Sealer.
