Details & Notes: Excellent condition and all original. Rare and musical. Made out of one hallowed piece of 200 year old Japanese Zelkova Wood, also known as Akagi or "red wood". Once made, the wood is seasoned for three years, reducing the moisture content of the shell to 9%. A true masterpiece of an instrument.
