Details & Notes: Incredible 1927 Ludwig 4x14 De Luxe Super Ludwig "Black Beauty" Dance Model in a rare Super Sensitive configuration. This highly collectable drum has been cherished and well maintained, featuring all original and functional hardware, 60's Ludwig Super Sensitive wire/gut combination snare wires, and modern Stern Tanning calf heads. The drum features ornamental gold plated hardware, which does show age through patina and wear but in a beautiful way that accentuates this nearly 100 year old drum. The beautiful hard engraved shell features Ludwig's classic engraving pattern and the Ludwig name, which reveals the natural brass through the nickel plated shell.
