VINTAGE 1937 Leedy 8x14 Broadway Parallel in Black Diamond Pearl

• Vintage Snare Drum. 

• Size: 8x14.

• Details & Notes: A beautiful Leedy Broadway parallel that is ready to get into action with a little work from some willing hands. The drum is completely functional and in great shape, though the snares are a bit over sized in length and need to likely be properly shortened and capped and replaced in the holding pins. Both adjustment plates work with ease, and the parallel system works like a charm. The drum was found by the prior owner in a mildly out of round state and was professionally mended with tension rings. The rings are still inside the drum, and not attached to the shell by anything other than their own pressure. We've opted to leave these in should the future owner need or want them. There is an address penciled on the inside of the shell by a prior owner of the drum as well as the date "Jan 8 18". The original tension rods are missing and have been replaced with the same thread screws that take a screw driver. Despite the oddities, this drum can easily be put back into original condition with the right rods for an excellent piece.
