VINTAGE 1940's Slingerland Radio King Drum Set in White Marine Pearl

• Sizes: 14x22 bass drum, 9x13 tom, 12x14 cradle mounted floor tom.

• Details & Notes: A beautiful Radio King drum set with retro sizes, in an original wrap with original nickel hardware, with a classic floor tom basket. The wrap on this set is in immaculate shape, and looks like it was made yesterday. Very clean nickel with minor pitting enhances the beauty of this kit. The 13" and 14" toms tune to feel right at home together, even being only and inch apart in width. The 14" floor tom cradle holds the drum sturdy and allows a little more resonance than standard legs seem to. Both drums have top and bottom reinforcement rings, with the 14" floor having a third center ring. The 14x22 bass drum is incredibly punchy even with non muffled heads and no dampening inside the drum. The drum is completely virgin except for one spot on the side where a Gretsch cymbal arm had previously been attached. The 13" tom's diamond plate would typically indicate a bass drum rail mount having been present, but this drum would have original attached to a hoop clip mount with a spade clip which is not present. The original Radio King bass drum feet are gone, and have been replaced by standard Danmar bass drum clip on spurs. All mufflers and hardware are clean and fully functional on this kit, complete with ready to play heads.
