VINTAGE 1949-1953 K. Zildjian Istanbul 20" Old Stamp Type II Ride Cymbal w/ Four Rivets

• Vintage Cymbal. This is a beautiful, thin Old Stamp K, with the stamp dating the cymbal somewhere between the tail end of the 40's and beginning of the 50's. Listed at 20" for the sake of practicality, but the cymbal technically is just under 20" at 19 5/8".  The profile of this cymbal is artful, with a very low profile bell that offers a woody stick, and a nice taper to the bow and edge of the cymbal. Despite being so thin, the cymbal gives off a very clean and delicate stick sound even at high tempo playing. Drilled for six rivets but only four factory rivets remain. The cymbal is a small hole cymbal, and suffered key holing or a hole crack at some point. The flaw was professionally mended, and actually lets this cymbal sit a bit better on stands, as even some vintage stands are a snug fit for this one. Slight black adhesive residue over one rivet hole that with come off with some work. A true bebop dream.
