VINTAGE 1960's Gretsch 6.5x14 Floor Show 3-Ply Snare Drum in Black Diamond Pearl

• Vintage Snare Drum. 

• Size: 6.5x14

• Details & Notes: Very early 60's 3-ply, likely made at the transition between 3-ply and 6-ply shells, as well as during the introduction to "Silver Sealer" as this drum has both a 3-ply shell and factory Silver Sealer. The drum is aesthetically beautiful, though there is minor ply separation on the top side of the drum, the tone control is a replacement Gretsch tone control (added after photographs were taken). The Micro-Sensitive throw has been replaced with a Maxwell reproduction. The drum has been priced in accordance to these flaws and is sold as is, but will be a wonderful playing piece with a replacement Micro-Sensitive. Bottom Die Cast Hoop is a later Gretsch Hoop.
