VINTAGE 1960's K. Zildjian Istanbul 22" Intermediate Stamp Ride Cymbal w/ Rivets

• Vintage Cymbal. Don't let this one fool you. Yes, the cymbal is heavily cracked in two locations. Yes, such a thing would bring tears to the eyes of some. Yes, it still sounds great. Against all odds, this old K has stood it's ground to continue making lovely sounds! This is a thing one, with what appears to be factory rivet holes that do not have factory rivets (though that is unknown. It seems the rivets were the catalyst in cracks forming in this old soul, as each crack stems from a rivet holes. The rivets fit the cymbal tightly, some to the point of getting stuck. Removing the rivets would be best to preserve this cymbal, as modern rivets can replace them and will fit better. The cracks have spidered off, and could be scooped out, but would likely effect tone. As is, the cymbal has a lovely stick, with a classic wash straight from a golden era bebop record. The bell is mellow and woody. A classic, golden gem, with a little mojo to go. Like many old K's, this one is undersized coming in at 21.5"
