VINTAGE 1970's DIXON MIJ 5x14 Snare Drum in Blue Sparkle

Details & Notes: A very catchy sounding and looking made in Japan Dixon snare drum in a lovely blue sparkle. The mahogany shell is in good shape for an MIJ drum and is clean. The "Zoomatic" style throw-off works very well and holds without issue. There is a Ludwig reproduction internal muffler that has been added to replace the missing internal muffler, which would have been built in a similar style and shared the same hole pattern. This funky snare is an excellent choice for drummers looking for a dry and snappy sound from a wood drum.
