VINTAGE 1970's Gretsch Stop Sign Badge Concert Tom Kit in White Nitron

Details & Notes: Late 70's Gretsch in White Nitron. Classic concert tom set up with all drums being single headed except for the 16" floor tom and 24" bass drum. The drums are in good condition structurally, but do have some cosmetic issues including some pitting and wrap cracks present on the 10", 12" 13", 16" and 24". The set was built during the Gretsch "Monster Hardware" era, where shells used ball socket mounts placed into cut outs in the shell. Many drummers opted to not use these mounts as they were often unreliable. As such, the prior owner of this kit opted to use INDe lug replacing mounts on each tom so that these drums can be compatible with modern tom stands. No monster hardware is present on the kit except for the in-shell tom mounts, and bass drum double tom plate. Two bass drum t-rods and claws are unoriginal and have been substituted with generic claws/rods. These drums feature typical of era metal bass drum hoops. As was common with this era of Gretsch concert toms, the 8" is a four lug drum, and the 10" is a six lug drum, both with triple flanged hoops.
