VINTAGE 1970's K. Zildjian Istanbul 20" New Stamp Ride Cymbal

• Vintage Cymbal. A beautiful 20" New Stamp K Istanbul with a unique shape for the era, similar to Old Stamp K profiles. Wide, flatter profile bell with a higher profile body. The cymbal has a multitude of even rivet holes in fashion of Art Blakey. The cymbal has been treated with sone updated hammering by renowned cymbal smith Paul Francis, but has not been modified in any other ways. Six rivets are installed. The cymbal has a strong stick definition, complex wash, complex woody bell, and a very quick and trashy crash sound. Sound qualities are comparable to a Bill Stewart style "Dry Complex" cymbal in a thin weight.
