Details & Notes: Incredible condition Sonor Horst Link Heavy Beech drums in a beautiful Scandinavian Birch Maserbirke veneer. These drums consist of all Signature Heavy shells with the exception of the 8x8 which was an add on Sonorlite. All drums have excellent interiors and edges with just a chip present in the resonant side edge of the 15" that does not effect performance. Exteriors show only acceptable wear for the age of the kit being present. All drums are square power sizes, as was common in this era of drum building. The bass drum is a 20x20, which is somewhat unique to see. All hardware on the drums are fully functional and in excellent condition with shiny clean chrome. Heads are not original to the drums but are in overall good shape, with the exception of a few which have some cratering from heavy play. The drums come with original Signature heavy hardware, including a double tom stand, double boom stand, two single tom stands, and a tom/cymbal hybrid stand with a short arm that is missing it's top felt. Additional hardware consists of an original Signature hi-hat stand, throne with an attachable wooden back rest, and double pedal. The double pedal is missing a beater. The bottom two rods on the bass drum batter and resonant feature Sonor "L style" wings like what is seen on the Signature hardware. This makes attaching the bulky double pedal a little difficult, though most modern pedals should be fine. The bass drum is complete with a double tom post and a functional wool muffler. The set comes with an original of same era Sonor catalog and a few Sonor slotted keys for use on the slotted tension rods featured on this kit.
