VINTAGE Late 1920's Ludwig & Ludwig 4x14 6-Lug Snare Drum in Natural Mahogany

• Vintage Snare Drum.

• Size: 4x14.

• Details & Notes: There is old school, and then there is this lovely Ludwig & Ludwig six lugger from the 20's. Tons of awesome vintage vibes from this drum including cable snares, no flange hoops, and a hoop mounted snare strainer. Shell appears to be 2-ply with a two piece internal ply. Decent ply separation of the internal ply is present, but doesn't seem to drastically effect the tone of the drum. Snare strainer is a bit tough to work, especially due to the heavy patina, but is functional.
