Part of a special collection of drums, cymbals, and percussion instruments belonging to our friend and world-renowned percussionist and drummer Walfredo Reyes, Jr.
Currently the drummer for the legendary band Chicago, Walfredo Reyes, Jr. has toured and recorded with such musical giants as Carlos Santana, Steve Winwood, Jackson Browne, Gloria Estefan, Smokey Robinson, and many more. Bearing stories, signatures, hand-written notes, and other personal touches, this collection includes beloved gifts and essential tools Wally employed to share his massive musical gifts with the world.

Details & Notes: Wally's personal Mapex 6.5x14 Sledgehammer snare drum. 1.2mm thick hammered brass shell with Black Panther tub lugs. Factory original aside from the heads which have been swapped out. Minor signs of wear are present from use.
Note from Wally: "This beautiful Mapex snare drum was a drum I recorded with when I lived in LA. Amazing versatile drum. After I moved to Newport KY I have been on the road using DW & havnt been able to use this gorgeous drum as I did in LA Studios. Many great musical memories with this snare drum. Enjoy it!"
